Steps | DIY Lavender Centerpiece
Supplies you will need:
18-20 stems of Rose Ocean Song
10 stems of White Ranunculus
8 stems of Veronica Blue
7-8 stems of Baby Blue Eucalyptus
7-8 stems of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus
Floral Foam
Floral Scissor
Footed Vase
Let’s Go!
With a sharp knife, cut the floral foam to fit tightly inside the footed vase. Soak the floral foam until it is fully saturated. I like to start with the focal flower first. From there, I begin inserting smaller flowers, fillers, and greenery.
Step 1: Let’s start with the lavender ocean song roses. Remove the guard petals from your roses. Before cutting, measure the length of the stems in relation to your vase. Once the stems are the length you desire, begin placing them into the foam.
Step 2: Your next step is to add your white ranunculus. Ranunculus stems are hollow, so be gentle when sticking them into the foam. Be sure to turn the centerpiece as you add flowers.
Step 3: Add stems of baby blue and silver dollar eucalyptus between the flowers. Remove the leaves from the bottom of the stems before placing them in floral foam. The stems should be longer than the flowers and be flowing out farther than the lavender roses.
Step 4: Add the blue veronica stems to the centerpiece and fill in any gaps with flowers or greenery. It would make a beautiful centerpiece for a special event or wedding table. Just add the table number pick!
